Website Managers are responsible for maintaining and updating our organization's website content. This role is ideal for an organized individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring a seamless and up-to-date digital experience for our audience.
Boston
3-4 hrs/week
Responsibilities
- Update and manage content (events, team, sponsors, etc.) on our website using our Content Management System (CMS)
- Collaborate with our Marketing, Community Engagement, and Speaker Development teams to ensure that website content aligns with event details, themes, and goals
- Regularly review and update event details, speaker information, and other relevant content to keep the website current
- Monitor website performance and troubleshoot any content-related issues in collaboration with technical members
- Stay informed about trends and best practices, proposing improvements to enhance the user experience
- Provide support and training to team members contributing content to the website

Requirements
- Accountable and organized with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with basic SEO principles and website analytics
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Basic understanding of web design and user experience principles
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
